FRKTL - Tahrir by shbadrMusic Wednesdays — A fantastically talented producer and Egyptian musician residing in the UK, Sarah Badr a.k.a. FRKTL uses live instruments, field recordings, and innovative production and performance methods to create cinematic, emotionally intense sound-scenes. Moving back to Egypt after the Egyptian revolution, this work seems to reflect her new-again surroundings and the emotional state(s) that would accompany many events that have taken place.
